Austin Mini Maker Faire re-cap!

Wow!  Ok, so  I know I am a week late with this post but it’s taken me a while to get back into the swing of things this week!

What an AMAZING event!  Inspite of the heat, it was so much fun.  We really do have a great community in Austin.  The talent constantly surprises me (not really-we know it’s full of creativity!!) and this town is filled with the nicest people.  I love it when my day is filled with smiles from everyone!!!

First up:

My tent had a little make and take table where kids could build rustic cowboy/cowgirl mobiles!  Here are just a few of the awesome kids that made them!!

So cute!!!   I wish I took more photos but it was more popular than I could have imagined and couldn’t keep up!!

Second bit of awesomeness:

The Rocking Horses from the Apocolypse!

Check out a video from a guest at the show.

Third bit:

Guess what?  You may have hear that I make things too?! It’s True!!  I call it Fartsy Arts and it was displayed along side Tchotchkes so that people could check out my goods that I LOVE to make!!  Thanks to Austin Fresh Photography, I have some awesome pics of my goods.  I love them and appreciate the snaps!!

So, there is this AMAZING group of indie artists and crafters that I belong to and here are just a few of the Austin Craft Riot members that were selling their goods.

Five!!!

Creepy baby robot by Marvin Niebuhr of Dripping Springs, TX.  He had this little guy that I couldn’t stop staring at along with a dancing guitar, some crazy huge robot, and other fun do dads!

Six:

Austin Bike Zoo.  Cool.

This cute guy/gal was all dressed up for the occasion.

I regret not taking more photos but to see more, check out Austin Fresh’s Facebook to see all of the activities that were captured!!

What a great day!! I can’t wait for the next one!!!
